Dr. Ta'Rhonda Jones is a Chicago-born actress, rapper, director and philanthropist best known as Porsha Taylor on FOX's Empire and as host of OWN's The Never Ever Mets. She has released seven albums and an EP on her own label, directed for BET Her, won MasterChef Celebrity Showdown, and founded the Ta'Rhonda Jones S.E.E.D. Foundation, which runs free acting and media classes for youth on Chicago's South and West Sides.

Dr. Ta'Rhonda Jones is a true representation of a woman with many hats. She stands strong as an activist, actress, director, producer, celebrity MasterChef champion, fashion designer, host, comedian, intoxicating rapper, songwriter, philanthropist and doctor. Jones is most known for her breakout role as Porsha on FOX's hit television show Empire. Showcasing more than just her acting skills on the show, Ta'Rhonda shocks the world with her forward-thinking talents and golden mindset to shift out-of-the-box thinking.

Ta'Rhonda founded the Black Village Foundation, focused on providing financial assistance to entrepreneurs, and now leads a new endeavor focused on developing independent artists on the South Side and West Side of Chicago. She spends her off season as a nonprofit leader and motivational influencer. Since the beginning of COVID she has given away hundreds of thousands of pounds of food across many communities, earned a reputation for her Christmas giving with more than 20,000 toys, and launched over $150,000 in grants to build Black wealth in Chicago. She is Chicago's daughter.

Ta'Rhonda has been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, Lifetime, BET and other influential networks. Her most recent fashion project was a collaborative partnership with AKIRA, showcasing her collection at New York Fashion Week. In her creative life you will find her in the study of music and film, bringing back the raw foundation of music and amplified sound: she produced Re•Her•Soul live from her living room and inspired artists of all kinds to further their careers. She has co-hosted The Real and The Steve Harvey Show, hosted the carpet for E! News and the BET Soul Train Awards, and is now the host of OWN's The Never Ever Mets.
